Cosmic Delivery's COVID-19 Plan

In addition to our regular santiation procedures, Cosmic Delivery has put a plan in place to further protect customer's, driver's and restaurant partners
from the COVID-19 virus. Below we have summarized the key aspects of the plan.
Increased Sanitation
- We have increased our supply of sanitation supplies every driver will be fully supplied throughout their entire shift.
- Our drivers will be sanitizing both their hands after each delivery and after pickups where they come into contact with door handles and other public surfaces.
- We are providing gloves to our drivers who cannot sanitize their hands after each order due to skin sensitivity issues. Gloves will be changed and disposed of after every order.
- Our drivers car and warmer bags will regularlly be sanitized
Updated Policies
- We have disabled both card at door and tip at door payment options to decrease the amount the time a driver needs to spend at the door. Card online and cash payment types are still available.
- We are sending a message to any customers with cash at door payments to have their cash ready when the driver arrives to reduce the time the driver needs to spend at the door.
Technology Improvements
- We have added a tip online option to eliminate the need to sign for your order at the door and shorten the interaction with your driver.
- We have added "contactless" delivery options and made them the default setting
- We are continuing to make Technology improvements for our COVID-19 response plan
Improved Leave Policies
- We have improved our leave policies so our drivers feel comfortable taking time off if there is any question about them being sick.
- We are siding on the side of caution and requiring drvers to take time off if there is any hint they may be sick, even if they are unsure.
- We are requiring our drivers to take time off if someone they live with is sick.
- We are allowing any drivers who are at increased risk for COVID-19 or with family members at increased risk for COVID-19 to take time off without question.
- We are staying in constant communication with our drivers about their well-being and providing time off if needed.
Working with our Restaurant Partners
- All of our restaurants are official partners with Cosmic Delivery which allows us to more easily work with them to ensure safe operating procedures.
- We are communicating with restaurants to ensure they pay extra attention to routine sanitation procedures.
- We are working with restaurants to ensure no employees work while sick and that they're employees feel comfortable going on leave if they have any signs of being sick.
